OVERVIEW

The Schmid Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) and was founded in 2012 as a way to contribute resources including time, money, and intellect to educational organizations-both public and private to further their causes. It is our belief that in order for the future generation to be capable and prepared, they must have the very best that we can offer-including technology, and a solid understanding of English and upper level math.

John Schmid, founder of Schmid Construction, Inc. is eager to give back to the community. Initially, John intends to use his influence in the community to create a foundation that will focus on the youth of Central Florida, but will eventually expand across the United States with organizations that align with his values and beliefs.
Fund raising and gifts to qualified organizations will be an ongoing process. Monetary donations to public and private organizations for the purpose of enhancing the education process will ultimately be a year round process and expand to influence educational institutions across the country.
Currently, all activities will be conducted in West Orange County; however, our desire is to expand across Central Florida as our resources increase. It is our desire to assist multidimensional education facilities, higher learning, charitable organizations, and other similar interest groups both public and private to further their causes by giving monetarily, donate time and other resources as needed.
It is John Schmid’s vision to assist facilities and other organizations that educate children or help promote positive influence on today’s youth.
100% of Schmid Foundation, Inc.’s monthly time will be donated to this process.
Initially, there will be a gift from Mr. Schmid to get the foundation off the ground. Additional time, money, and resources will be obtained through fund raising efforts and relationships from Schmid subcontractors, Architects, Engineers, and other business partners.
